Garmin iQue 3000 is a newly styled, entry-level Palm Powered personal digital assistant (PDA) that offers fully integrated GPS technology at a low price. The iQue 3000 expands Garmin’s iQue Palm OS PDA product line, which currently includes the iQue 3200 and iQue 3600.

Garmin iQue 3000 offers Garmin’s easy-to-use “where to” or “view maps” interface. After entering a destination, the iQue 3000 will choose the fastest or shortest route to navigate the user from door to door. The unit automatically recalculates a route if the driver misses their turn and notifies drivers of their estimated time of arrival.

The compact Garmin iQue 3000 features Garmin’s Que™ technology that offers complete integration between organization and GPS navigation functions. Que technology connects the Palm Address Book and Date Book to the GPS electronic map so users can navigate directly to a specific address from the user’s contact database or date book.

iQue 3000 includes 1 region pre-programmed microSD card which shows street information from the City Navigator™ NT. This industry-leading navigation database allows the user to look up millions of points of interest such as restaurants, hotels, transportation, and banks. Map data is provided by NAVTEQ™ – a world leader in premium-quality mapping.

Palm OS 5 organizer software with integrated Garmin Que navigation features

For information, there are a total of 5 PALM languages and 11 Garmin "Que" apps languages in the iQue 3000. When you start up the unit, there are a series of setup screens (in English, French, Italian, German and Spanish). One of the setup screens asks which of the 5 PALM languages the user would like to begin using. Once the user selects that language, the unit will then appear in that language. When the user selects that "Que" apps, the language that the user selected during the setup process will also show up.
