Topfield TF5810PVR is the new model from Topfield. Topfield TF5810 PVR replaces the popular TF5800 PVR. Topfield's PVRs are synonymous with technical sophistication and this "Toppy" really does raise the bar. Featuring twin digital tuners and a huge 500GB integrated hard drive, the Topfield TF-5810PVR provides you with a host of viewing options. You can watch one channel whilst recording another, watch two channels simultaneously using the picture in picture mode, record two channels whilst watching another and even record two channels whilst watching a previously made recording. Along with an easy to use Electronic Programme Guide (EPG), the flexibility that the TF-5810 gives you is truly remarkable.

A particularly exciting feature of this PVR is the inclusion of an HDMI socket with HD upscaling to 1080i. The TF5810 uses technology to ensure that predicted, future, higher-quality Freeview services, which may become available, will either work automatically or via a simple, cost-free update. And today's Freeview services, along with any recordings that you make, can be viewed in high definition on your LCD or plasma television. Just in case Freeview isn't enough for you, the TF5810PVR is also fully compatible with popular Setanta Sports CAMs and cards.

The TF5810 PVR can also be connected to a PC via its USB 2.0 socket. This lets you transfer your recordings to your computer or transfer your computer's MP3 music files to the TF5810-PVR for playback via your TV's speakers or your home audio system. The optical digital audio socket also delivers Dolby Digital output for amazing quality sound.

Finally, if you want even more control and flexibility, Topfield's unique "TAPs" (Topfield Application Programmes) will allow you to customise the 5810 with your own personal settings using downloadable or home-brewed software. available from www.toppy.org.uk
